HOW CURTIS STONE BUILT HIS CAREER
After reading the 'ABOUT' section of Curtis Stone, it is easy to link his love and passion for food, with his career outcomes. He strives to promote and lead by example with his motto of simple food, based on the natural ingredients provided by Mother Earth. Curtis has chosen to follow this pathway and it has led him to become the renowned chef he is today.
Starting off as an apprentice chef, Curtis quickly moved up the ranks to become a Head Chef and under the guidance of renowned chef Marco Pierre White, he claimed his first Michelin Star. From there, his career continued to grow. He was featured in books, magazines and was able to host in TV shows and have guest appearances on such shows as 'Ellen' and the 'Rachael Ray Show.' Stone then moved into writing his own cookbooks, designing his own range of kitchenware items, and opened two renowned restaurants in Los Angeles.

Currently, Stone still has the two successful restaurants, is modelling as an ambassador for Coles Supermarkets in Australia, he has opened another restaurant in partnership, and on-board Princess Cruises, and is starting to film for a new TV series, Top Chef Junior and guest starring in MasterChef Australia.
His achievements
Curtis Stone has accomplished a lot in his young life. Receiving a Michelin Star in the early years of his career, which led him on the track to become the renowned chef he is today. He has also reached the New York Times best seller list with his fifth book, What's For Dinner?: Recipes for a Busy Life in 2013. His restaurant Maude has received awards for the Best New Restaurant in 2014 and Best Restaurant in 2015 from LA Magazine. It also received Restaurant of the Year in 2014 from Los Angeles Eater and received 4 out of 4 stars from Los Angeles Magazine. Maude also received a great accolade from TIME and Travel & Leisure which listed Maude as one of the best new restaurants in the world.
In 2006, Curtis was named in People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive.
Along with all these accomplishments, Curtis still helps out with charities and has time for his family, consisting of wife, Lindsay, and two sons, Hudson and Emerson.
Despite his celebrity status and appearing on TV, Curtis still loves nothing more than being in the kitchen cooking.
